How-To: Dabbing, Cleaning, & Replacing
Step 1: HEAT NAIL!
Using a torch lighter or kitchen torch, heat the nail for 30-45 seconds.**Do not heat nail to red hot, as it will degrade your nail over time**
Step 2: WAIT!
Wait about a minute for the banger to cool down. The goal is to melt the oil, not burn it.
Take your time, a hot dab isn't the best for you or your banger!
For the best results, use a temperature reader for an exact temperature read off the banger.
Use the following temperatures as a guide:
Too Hot: 560-600 F / 290-315 C
Perfect Hit: 500-560 F / 260-293 C
Too Low: 350-500 F / 177-260 C
Step 3: TAKE A FATTY!
I hope I don’t have to explain this one…Take that nice juicy dab, begin to inhale at the same time you drop in the dab.
Step 1: DIP!
Dip your Dabsponge in isopropyl alcohol. You do not have to soak the sponge, as a little goes a long way and the sponge absorbs the liquid quickly!
Step 2: SQUEEZE!
Squeeze out the excess alcohol using the Dabsponge container, specifically equipped with a strainer.
Step 3: CLEAN!
Place the Dabsponge into the banger and give it a few swirls till it is squeaky clean. Your banger should look as good as new!! Feel free to use Q-Tips or Dabsponge Mini’s to touch up the banger or stem.
**Repeat this process after each hit to maintain that smooth hit!
**Prolong the life of your Dabsponge
Cleaning your Dabsponges is SUPER easy! When you're ready to clean your Dabsponge, simply soak the Dabsponge in isopropyl alcohol for about 3 minutes. Remove from alcohol and use a paper towel or rag to squeeze the sponge. If done after each use, a single Dabsponge can withstand daily use for over one week before being disposed.
Step 1: Pinch!
Pinch the two pronged head piece together to make accessing the small clip, at the center, easier.
Step 2: Push!
Push the small clip out of one prong in order to access the sponge. If you prefer, you can take the clip out of both prongs as well.
Step 3: Remove!
Now, slide the sponge out from the grasps of the clip and dispose of old sponge.
Step 4: Replace!
Take out a replacement sponge and slip the clip through the pre-cut hole. Make sure that both ends of the clip are clearly exposed through the other side of the sponge. If not, try to push the clip in and out a few times, to open up the hole in the sponge. Although this will make the next step easier, be careful not to rip the sponge.
Step 5: Refasten!
Finally, pinch the two prongs together until you hear the clip, “Click” back into place.Your Dabsponge is back and ready for action!
